Penthouse in NY once owned by Marilyn Monroe is on sale

A penthouse in New York that once belonged to Marilyn Monroe went on sale for $ 6.75 million (R $ 23.1 million). Located between Fifth Avenue and the East River in New York, the property of 500 square meters served as the residence for actress and her third husband, the playwright Arthur Miller, between 1956 and 1961.

It was there, including that Miller wrote the screenplay for "The Misfits," the latest film starring Marilyn. The apartment has two bedrooms, home office, large living room and open terrace overlooking the Queens and the famous Queensboro Bridge. In addition to the million requests by the current owner, the potential buyer will have to still pay a monthly condominium fee of $ 3,000 (US $ 10,300).
